Penny Spooner Ceramics
Box, Wiltshire, SN13 8NR
Penny is a potter living and working in Wiltshire, just outside Bath producing colourful porcelain tableware in harlequin sets. Her love of colour and ceramics stems from childhood teas with her grandmother, who served her homemade cakes on a beautiful vintage harlequin tea set. Inspired by the enjoyment of shared meals with family and friends, with food served on tableware that adds a little extra enjoyment to those moments. Each year Penny also produces a small collection of black porcelain vessels as well as a selection of larger, individual pieces including fruit bowls and vases, for those special occasion gifts. Ideal for weddings, anniversaries and birthdays. These are pieces designed to be used and enjoyed every day. A move away from fast fashion and waste, the idea is to use, keep and add to your collection over the years. With attention to the environment, clay from any failed pieces is recycled and put back on the wheel. All packaging is reusable and recyclable, and orders are walked to the local post office to help support this important community hub. Please browse her website to find out more or brew a cuppa, take five minutes out of your day and scroll her Instagram feed. You’ll totally love her colourful, unique pieces.
