From their High Street shop and bistro, they offer a wide selection of freshly landed, sustainably sourced seafood with full traceability back to the boat. Their counter changes daily with the tides, featuring Kent’s finest Dover sole, turbot, brill, cod, hake and mackerel, alongside shellfish such as lobster, crab, oysters, mussels, and scallops. When local isn’t available, they source trusted British favourites including Loch Duart salmon, Shetland mussels and hand-dived scallops. Shoppers can also enjoy smoked fish, seafood platters, dressed crabs, fishcakes, pies and other homemade deli staples that make mealtimes simple yet special. As well as retail, The Boathouse supplies and delivers wholesale fish and shellfish to restaurants and retailers across Kent. Years of experience mean they know exactly which boats land the freshest catches and whose methods are the most sustainable. Their knowledge of the industry ensures chefs and customers alike can rely on exceptional quality and responsible sourcing. Order online for nationwide delivery. Fishmongers is open Open Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00am 4:00pm, closed on Sundays and Mondays Bistro is open Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00am 9:00pm, with evening service available from 5:00pm onward (reservations require a £10 per head deposit)
