We run 3 beautiful holiday cottages with lots of thoughtful outside spaces for you to enjoy a BBQ or gather around a fire pit, or just sit under a tree listening to the stream. Middle Farm is a quiet small holding and we are passionate about giving our guests the best countryside break. We guarantee you will leave recharged and fully relaxed! The cottages are beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need for your self catering holiday. We have rare breed Soay sheep and friendly Valaise Blacknose sheep who love their tummies tickled and an eclectic mix chickens and ducks so you can buy fresh eggs for breakfast - you can help us collect if you want! If you don't fancy walking, we offer Landrover Defender trips over the Long Mynd and Shire horses live on site. They get trained and worked here. There's lots to see and do all around the farm to suit all ages. Finally, we have small guest farm shop to buy frozen home made ready meals and extra bits and pieces made by us and also supplied by our local butchers, bakers and delicatessen. We are self catering with no cooking involved if you want! So if you are looking for a countryside break with a difference - we could be right up your street (or down the country lane!)

What do you produce?

We sell our own home grown Soay Lamb. This breed of sheep is much smaller than your commercial breeds but we think doubley delicious! - Cook it slowly and pull it off the bone and it is the most scrummy lamb ever. I also make ready meals using meat from our local butchers and some vegetarian options so you can have a night off the cooking!

3 beautifully converted old cattle barns sleeping up to 10 people in total and all cottages have full use of The Byre and gardens for their own enjoyment. Gooseyard - sleeps 2 with its own patio and seating and 1 dog friendly Daisy's Place - sleeps 2, 1 dog friendly and overlooks the yard and all the comings and goings The Barn (no dogs) sleeps 6 and is perfect for families with its own patio, seating for 6. We also have a large outside games barn with ping pong, darts and sand pit. All cottages are tastefully decorated and finished to a very high standard. The beds are incredibly comfortable, large and made with 100% crisp white cotton 600 thread count linens. You won't have a more peaceful night! Everything provided from towels to tea bags!. We have a private members Carp Fishing lake within a 5 minute walk from the farm that guests are allowed to use for a small fee. We offer Landrover green lane experiences and the farm is yours to explore. Lots of interesting local places to visit - Ludlow, Shrewsbury, Powis Castle, Ironbridge Gorge, Blists Hill Victorian Town, Acton Scott Heritage Farm, plenty of castles and ruins and incredible walks over The Long Mynd and Shropshire Hills.
