Revills Farm and Farm Shop
Bourne Road, Defford, near Pershore, Worcestershire, WR8 9BS
Revills Farm Shop in Defford, Worcestershire was born from asparagus - in 2003, Isabel Revill started selling it from the field next to the old family games room with a cash tin and a trestle table. The asparagus is still grown on the farm, still the star of the season each spring and Revills has gone on to become a proper all-year-round destination: a full farm shop and Farmhouse Café serving the Vale of Evesham. The shop sells fresh local vegetables and fruit, local milk, cheeses and yoghurt from small dairies, locally reared lamb, venison, beef, pork and chicken, locally sourced sausages, freshly baked bread and cakes, specialist beers from local breweries and quality frozen fish and seafood. It has been featured on the BBC's Hairy Bikers Food Tour of Britain, The One Show and Escape to the Country, and sells the only PGI status asparagus in the region.
