Bomber County Produce

Near Coningsby, Lincolnshire

Bomber County Produce grows asparagus and leeks near RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire - named for the county's deep association with RAF Bomber Command during the Second World War, with a founding member of the company having served as a rear-gunner during the conflict. Mervyn started growing leeks in 1991, and in 2010 his son and daughter started growing asparagus on the farm. Both crops are grown on the fertile fenland soils of mid-Lincolnshire and supplied to selected Lincolnshire Co-op food stores, bringing locally grown produce directly to local communities.
