Glamis is prime Angus agricultural land, a few miles from Glamis Castle, at the heart of a county long celebrated for the quality of its soft fruit and vegetables. Scottish asparagus has a shorter season than English (typically May to mid-June) but the cool nights and fertile Angus soils produce spears of exceptional flavour.
