David Hartnoll grows asparagus at Broadlands Farm in Braunton on the North Devon coast - the only asparagus grower in the area, selling it direct during the season at a farm stall at Molevalley Farmers in Barnstaple each Friday and Saturday. As the local MP put it on a visit to the farm: "Braunton Asparagus is the best out there." Fresh asparagus grown on the edge of Exmoor, in one of the westernmost growing locations in Britain.

No, it is not possible to visit or buy direct from the farm. However their asparagus can be purchased from local stockists during the asparagus season. Also available via Local Farm Box (localfarmbox.co.uk) for delivery in North Devon.
