We open up our working organic farm every summer for camping and we absolutely love having people come and stay with us. This is real farm camping, on a real working farm, with 12,000 hens next door who start their day considerably earlier than most of our guests. Every pitch comes with a fire pit, toilet and shower facilities, a parking space and entry to Meet the Chickens - because if you are going to stay on an egg farm, you really should meet the chickens. Most weekends also come with on-site bars, street food and live music, because we also believe camping should be fun for the whole family. Throughout the summer we run a full calendar of themed camping weekends: the Barn Dance, Rum and Reggae Night, Father's Day Fun, Caught Up in the Country, the 80s and 90s Silent Disco, and the Wild Meadows Weekender over the August Bank Holiday. Wilderness Warrior Week in August adds a children's forest school session, nature activities and a campfire music session for families who want something a little more adventurous. Midweek camping in the Nest Box Field is available during May half term and the summer holidays with no minimum night stay - perfect for a spontaneous escape. Bell tents are also available for those who prefer to travel light. Gift cards make a brilliant present for someone who deserves a weekend away somewhere genuinely special.

What do you produce?

We produce around 12,000 organic free range eggs every single day from our flock of 12,000 happy hens — or "our girls" as we call them. Our eggs are available to buy directly from the farm Monday to Saturday, 9am–12noon, from our stable block. Come and find us — you can't miss the bumpy farm track.

Tell us about your rental accomodation

We offer grass pitches across a number of beautiful camping fields here on the working farm - the Barn Field, the Tawny Owl Field and the Nest Box Field - each with its own character. Every pitch has space for one tent, a fire pit, a wood box, toilet and shower facilities and a car parking space. Most summer weekends come with on-site bars, street food and live music too. This is proper farm camping, with 12,000 hens as your neighbours and the South Downs on the horizon. For those who prefer not to bring their own tent, we also have beautiful bell tents available to hire, fully set up and ready for you when you arrive. Every pitch also includes entry to Meet the Chickens because staying on an organic egg farm and not meeting the chickens would be a missed opportunity.

How many people can you accommodate?

Each pitch accommodates up to 4 people. Up to 2 additional people can be added to a pitch at the time of booking for an extra cost - so up to 6 people per pitch in total.
