This is the annual fundraiser for the place that built itself. The Newquay Orchard Summer Fayre is one day in June when the seven-acre community space - gifted by the Duchy of Cornwall and built by more than 600 volunteers over a decade - open up to showcase the great produce and local producers at the orchard and in the surrounding area. There will be live music, food, family activities and market stalls. Money raised goes back into the Orchard's social programmes - education, skills, mental health and wellbeing work. Free entry. Canteen at the Orchard, will be holding a special supper the evening before the Fayre.
