Old Green is a Dorset-based studio creating seasonal products and hands-on experiences inspired by nature, the senses and a more thoughtful use of materials. From our studio on the edge of the woods near Wimborne, we host workshops, gatherings and private experiences designed to engage the senses and encourage people to make, explore and create. Alongside our experiences, we make a collection of natural home and lifestyle products in our studio, using pure essential oils, natural waxes, locally sourced materials wherever possible, and waste glass bottles that we cut and transform by hand. Everything we do is shaped by the changing seasons and the landscape around us — finding beauty and value in natural and overlooked materials, and creating experiences that help people engage more closely with the world around them.

We run a changing programme of open workshops and experiences throughout the year, with dates available to book individually. Private sessions can also be arranged for groups of 6 or more, with dates and times agreed to suit your group.

Our workshops are hands-on, sensory experiences inspired by nature and the changing seasons. Our programme changes throughout the year, with experiences ranging from working with natural scent and botanicals to papermaking, seasonal crafts and other ways of turning overlooked materials into something useful and beautiful.

What will participants learn or take away?

Our changing programme includes natural candle making using pure essential oils and repurposed bottle glass, botanical diffuser and scent blending, traditional papermaking using waste paper and locally gathered plants, and seasonal tea blending. We also introduce new workshops, collaborations and one-off experiences throughout the year.
