Wilson's Turkeys in Killyman, County Tyrone, is a fifth-generation family poultry business producing traditional Bronze turkeys for Christmas. The turkeys are free range and reared specifically for the Christmas table. And there's good reason to seek them out: in 2025, Wilson's Bronze Turkey was awarded two stars at Great Taste, run by the Guild of Fine Food. Alongside whole Bronze turkeys, Wilson's sells other poultry direct, including goose and duck. It's the sort of Christmas turkey I think is worth knowing about: reared by a small family producer in County Tyrone, bought direct, with five generations of poultry farming behind it.
