Our shop sells one farm's meat: our own. Bronfelen Farm Shop sends Welsh lamb, hogget and pork from our fields above Cynghordy in Carmarthenshire to local freezers and ones across mainland Britain too. Everything starts on the 53 acres we farm. We raise the sheep and the pigs, choose each animal ourselves before it goes to our local butcher, then bring it home to cut, pack and box here. That last part matters to us. It is why we can tell you exactly where a joint came from, down to the field. The meat is slow grown, never rushed and never mass produced. You can order a half lamb box for the freezer, pork meat boxes, individual cuts or the offal most shops leave out. In season we also sell our own free-range eggs, honey from our bees and elderflower cordial from the little corner shop by the yard. We are Joe, Toni and our daughter Frankie, first-generation farmers who came here from Sussex in 2020. None of this passes through a wholesaler or a supermarket. It goes from our land to your door, packed by the same hands that raised it. What do you sell?

We sell our own Welsh lamb, hogget and pork, raised on the farm at Cynghordy. The range covers half lamb boxes, mixed meat boxes, individual cuts and offal. Recent examples include a half lamb box at £120, diced lamb, diced pork and lamb foreshanks. Everything is butchered locally then cut, packed and boxed by us on the farm. Alongside the meat, our corner shop by the yard sells seasonal produce from our own land when it is going: free-range eggs, honey from our bees and homemade elderflower cordial. We do not stock anything we did not grow or raise ourselves.

Which local producers do you stock?

Just us. Bronfelen is a single-farm shop, so everything on it comes from our own land at Cynghordy rather than from other suppliers. The lamb, hogget and pork are from the sheep and pigs we raise across our 53 acres. The eggs come from our own free-range hens, the honey from our bees and the cordial from elderflower we pick and make up ourselves. We think there is something in a shop where one family raised, butchered and packed everything in it. If that is what you are after, you have found it.

Opening Hours / Delivery Days

Online ordering is open any time. Upcoming delivery dates are posted on the shop. UK mainland delivery has a minimum order of £65. Local delivery is free on orders over £10. Collection from the farm is available by prior arrangement.
