At Broughgammon Farm, farming is rooted in respect — for the land, the animals and the food on your plate. Situated along the stunning Causeway Coastal route near Ballycastle, Broughgammon is an award-winning, forward-thinking family farm with a strong focus on sustainability, high-welfare and regenerative farming practices. The farm champions a holistic “farm-to-fork” ethos, producing ethical and flavourful meat while nurturing soil, livestock and ecosystem health. Broughgammon is especially known for its free-range rose veal and kid goat (cabrito), reared slowly and naturally from male dairy calves and goat kids that might otherwise be overlooked. The result is food with integrity, meat that tells a story, and farming that works with nature rather than against it. In addition to its artisan butchery and farm shop, the farm hosts tours, classes and experiences celebrating sustainable food and rural skills.

What do you sell?

Broughgammon has its own artisan on-site butchery, where they process all of their meat and also offer contract butchery to other small producers. Ethical meats on offer: Rose veal (steaks, joints, mince, slow-cook cuts) Kid goat (seasonal cuts, whole​/​half options) Free-range pork Sausages & burgers Occasional charcuterie Broughgammon also produce regeneratively grown vegetables in their fields and two polytunnels. In their classroom, they also run a range of “good life” courses showcasing traditional food and smallholding skills such as foraging, herbalism seasonal cookery classes, fermenting and cheesemaking. They also deliver their meat boxes all over Ireland and the UK.
