Folly Oast - Horam, East Sussex
Follly Oast, Horam, TN21 9HN
Jo Clark grows flowers at Marle Green, on the slow ground where the South Downs run east into the High Weald. Folly Oast is her micro nursery and flower farm - seasonal blooms, perennials, grasses and foliage, all grown without chemicals, all cut by hand for people who want a bunch that came out of a Sussex field rather than a Dutch wholesaler. She's a member of Flowers from the Farm, the network of British growers selling cut flowers direct, and Folly Oast is one of the small but growing number of farms east of Lewes doing this properly. Flowers are available, there is very soon to be PYO at the farm (check their instagram page for latest updates) and there is an open day on 17th August. Workshops are coming soon. Sign up to the mailing list at follyoast.co.uk for what's in flower this week and when she's next at a market.
