Their new rural Welsh life heightened their environmental consciousness and concern for biodiversity and climate change. Research into sustainable food production led them to establish Green Up Farm: Pembrokeshire's first indoor hydroponic vertical farm growing microgreens, herbs and specialty crops. Micro herbs and speciality crops require support from a nutrient solution and by managing the PH Levels Toni and Alex can ensure that the plant receives all the nutrients it requires to flourish. Green Up Farm is a low tech farm and they pride themselves on taking a completely hands on approach to growing, meaning they are able to nurture all their crops to ensure optimal yield and provide the highest quality produce.
