We specialise in interesting, unusual and delicious sea salt and seasonings. Sea salt is where we began and our speciality: we make ours by hand from the waters that surround Ynys Môn (Anglesey). Our famous flakes have Protected Designation of Origin certification. Our on-site smokery is where we make our award-winning ‘Smoked Water’ – a hundred percent natural condiment that brings a savoury depth to a huge range of foods. We love the landscape of Wales, so it makes sense that we look after it, as well as our team, and we are proud to be B Corp certified.

Where do you source your ingredients / materials from?

Our sea salt is hand-harvested right here on the Menai Strait in Anglesey.

Why do your customers love your products?

Our customers come back time and time again for our Pure Sea Salt as no salt tastes quite like it. They love that our salt is hand harvested right here in North Wales and makes their food sing.

What are your best selling products?

Our best selling products are, of course, our Pure Sea Salt flakes particularly the beautifully designed 100g Jars that sit happily in the middle of your table.

Are you open for visitors? If yes, what are your opening hours?

Yes, you can visit out Salt Cote, On-site shop, Wild Seaweed Baths and cafe 7 days a week. Shop and tours 10.00am-4pm. Cafe - 10.30 - 2.30.

Have you received any awards / lovely recommendations from experts (don't be shy!)?

We're very proud to have received B Corp status and that our products regularly receive Great Taste awards, the Oscars of the Food Industry. We count a number of wonderful chefs and cooks as loyal customers and loved getting a mention in the Off Menu Podcast.

Who's the best local producer near you (except you of course!)?

We're surrounded by wonderful producers here in North Wales. We love working with Coaltown coffee roasters, both in our cafe and in their blends.

For anyone visiting your area what's your "must see" local place?

Our Brand Director Jess found it hard to choose but 'one of them has got to be Ty Coch, the amazing pub on the Llŷn Peninsula which is only accessible by walking to it. It is just absolutely magic because it’s right on the beach and you can have a swim whilst you have your pint.'
