Lettoch Farm
Lettoch Farm, Dufftown
Here at Lettoch Farm we keep a small flock of different breeds sheep for their lovely soft and colourful fleeces which Caitlin uses for peg loom weaving. Dating back to Viking times, peg loom weaving is a mindful and relaxing craft using a board with pegs and warp strings to create rugs and mats, by weaving materials (in this case sheep’s fleece) in rows along the pegs. Caitlin sells her rugs and wall art of varying sizes and colours as well as teaching weaving workshops at the farm and at other local venues around Speyside. You can also stay at Lettoch Farm, just two miles from Dufftown, as we have different accommodation options here on the farm, including B&B, self catering and glamping!
