Located on the grounds of Levens Hall in Cumbria, Levens Bakery opened in July 2023, following an extension project that responded to the high demand for bread, cakes and takeaway treats from visitors. Housed in a renovated 1960s lean-to building, the space has been transformed into a modern baking and takeaway facility, aimed at complementing the busy “Levens Kitchen” operation. With its team including the Head Chef and Pastry Chef who previously appeared on Bake Off: The Professional), Levens Bakery produces a range of artisan breads, pastries and cakes — perfect for enjoying on the estate or taking home as a delicious memento of your visit. Open every day from 9 am to 4 pm, the bakery reflects Levens Hall’s wider focus on high-quality food, visitor experience and heritage dining.
