One of Peckham's coolest streets is just getting better! Peckham Farmers Market will launch on May 2nd 2026, transforming The Belham Primary School on Bellenden Road into a vibrant weekly food destination. The market is built around one core principle: freshness and variety. Produce is harvested as close to market day as possible to maximise flavour and nutritional value, with shoppers able to choose from all the weekly staples plus an exceptional range of varieties you simply won't find in a supermarket. Everything is grown with a focus on regenerative farming, grass-fed meats, and day-boat fish. Alongside the farmers, a carefully curated selection of European traders bring cheeses, charcuterie and antipasti, while bakers offer artisan breads, pastries, pies and tarts. As the organisers put it: "For too long, high-quality, nutrient-dense produce has felt out of reach. By removing the traditional intermediaries, we connect you with the people who grow, harvest and catch your food, meaning produce that's fresher, naturally grown and richer in taste." t
