Sail Trade South West sails from Plymouth and sources fairly traded food and drink from small producers overseas and transports it to the UK by traditional sailing vessels. Using wind and tide rather than fossil fuels, they bring produce by sail from Brittany and beyond, then sell it directly to coastal communities across Devon and Cornwall. Their work preserves traditional maritime skills while proving that low-impact, net-zero food transport is still possible today.
