The Boathouse Bistro builds its menu around the freshest seafood sourced directly from The Boathouse Fishmonger next door. Much of the fish and shellfish is landed daily by local MSC-certified boats along the Kent coast, with catches like Dover sole, turbot, brill, cod, lobster, crab, oysters and mussels shaping the day’s specials. When local isn’t available, the team carefully selects trusted British suppliers such as Loch Duart for salmon and Shetland for mussels and scallops, ensuring sustainability and traceability. Every dish celebrates responsibly sourced seafood, rooted in strong relationships with fishermen and a commitment to quality and seasonality.
