The Bothy at Morningside Farm
Near Harrietfield, Perthshire
From sweeping skies and ancient trees to the roaming geese, wildflowers and farm animals, the land shapes everything that happens at Morningside Farm. The Bothy sits right at the centre of it - a converted steading where the moors begin, and the sky goes on for a long time. Step inside to a generous open-plan living space with original stone walls, exposed beams and a wood-burning stove - perfect for slow mornings and cosy evenings. Upstairs the super-king bedroom offers deep comfort and calm, complete with an en-suite shower room. Outside, soak beneath open skies in a private outside bath surrounded by birdsong and heather moors, or unwind by the fire pit as the sun sets over the hills. You can enjoy a slow morning cup of tea while watching Ravens, Red Kites, Lapwings, Curlew and Grouse - or soak in the outside bath at night with Barn Owls and bats under the Milky Way or the Northern Lights. There is no television. There is a piano. Guests can order farm produce directly - hogget, fresh eggs from the hens, ducks and geese - and are welcome to slow down and rest in nature alongside the sheep, dogs, ducks, hens, geese and honey bees.
