Traditional Pub in the Heart of the Essex Countryside. We are farmers and in our pub we sell the grass fed, Salt Marsh Aberdeen Angus beef and lamb that we raise on our farm next door. Our pub is a timeless and authentic bolthole. Once the airmen's pub for the nearby World War One Airbase, the pub has changed very little since the turn of the last century. Family-run alongside our family farm. Nestled among the Crouch Valley’s vineyards in Stow Maries and sering wine from this region which is near Maldon in Essex. Famous for our traditional cask ales, and offering 4 beautiful rooms.

This isn't the nearest chicken supplier but it is the nearest supplier for which we deem the farming approach acceptable.
