West Kirby loves its Farmers' Market. It really does. And after 13 years, it's not hard to see why. On the fourth Saturday of every month, more than 20 local producers who grow, rear, cook, ferment, make and bake bring the best quality, freshest and most interesting local produce to the West Kirby community. Held at St Andrew's Church Hall on Graham Road, the market runs from 9am to midday and has grown into one of the Wirral's most beloved community food destinations - drawing loyal regulars and delighted first-timers in equal measure. The range on offer is genuinely broad: from sourdough and traditionally baked breads to handmade chocolates, free-range eggs, artisan cheeses, honey, fresh fruit and vegetables and local street food. There is something here for everyone and almost everything has been grown, raised, or made within a short distance of where you're standing. As you meet and support your local growers and producers, your purchases reduce food miles and contribute importantly to the local economy. Alongside the talented producers, the market is run entirely by volunteers, united by a shared love of good food and great community places. That is what makes West Kirby Farmers' Market so much more than just a place to pick up your weekend shopping.
