Mark Kacary is the co-founder and director of The Norfolk Deli, a celebrated delicatessen located in Hunstanton, Norfolk. Before venturing into the food industry, Mark had a successful IT sales and marketing career. His wife, Rosie Kacary, brought her experience as a food hall manager for Dobbies to their joint enterprise. In 2013, the couple purchased a wine cellar and deli in Hunstanton, transforming it into The Norfolk Deli, which focused on sourcing and supporting local Norfolk produce. Under Mark's leadership, the deli has become renowned for its extensive selection of local cheeses and commitment to artisanal products, earning accolades such as the Anglia regional winner and Delicatessen of the Year at the 2024 Farm Shop & Deli Retailer Awards. Mark's passion for cheese is evident in his curated selections and pairings, often highlighting local specialties like Baron Bigod from Fen Farm Dairy. Beyond the deli, he has played a pivotal role in promoting Norfolk's food scene, co-organizing events like the West Norfolk Seasonal Food & Drink Festival to showcase local producers and invigorate the community.
