Hello, I'm Pete Mitchell.
Founder of the Farmer's Son, Pete Mitchell, comes from a long line of farmers and producers. He can trace his family's farming heritage back to the early 1700s, where for almost 300 years, they've farmed the same part of Scotland, as they do today, growing superb crops and rearing award-winning livestock, while caring for the environment. The Farmer’s Son was established in 2016 on the belief there are fewer things in life more important than the food we eat. We believe in producing exceptional quality food, sustainable and ethically produced with outstanding flavour, free from preservatives and additives. Now in 2025, we are supplying into hundreds of high end butchers, such as Selfridges in London, and farm shops across the UK as well as upmarket hotels and restaurants such as the Cromlix Hotel in Dunblane. We are constantly evolving and are excited to see what the future brings.
